Acura Introduces V6 Powered TSX for 2010

2010 acura tsx v6 The Acura TSX was recently redesigned, but some felt that the second generation lacked the popular formula executed by the original model. As Acura’s entry level model, the Acura TSX featured excellent performance and quick handling. For the latest generation, it became larger, but without the help of more power.

For 2010, Acura is finally offering the TSX with more power. Thanks to a 3.5-liter V6, the 2010 TSX is available with 280 horsepower and 254 lb ft of toque. This needless to say should satisfy plenty of would-be TSX buyers that demand more power says Belleville Used Cars, which also features ample new Acuras. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission that is tuned more for fuel economy than off the line performance. Still, the TSX V6 can sprint to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds.

With the added power, the TSX has a surprisingly more mature demeanor. By no means is the TSX a high-performance sport sedan, but customers at Pittsburgh Acura Financing believe it certainly provides more of a premium sport feel compared to that of the inline four-cylinder model. With the added power, the TSX features 18 inch tires, a stiffer antiroll bar, and tweaked suspension which helps give the TSX superb handling characteristics.

The interior of the 2010 Acura TSX V6 provides drivers and passengers with a comfortable environment loaded with high-quality materials and fun gadgets. As with any Honda product, Pittsburgh Honda Service points out that ergonomics are excellent and the driver has excellent outward visibility while also having various controls easily within reach. Acura Service Langhorne's customers noticed the satellite navigation system is intuitive and provides helpful data, such as weather and real time traffic.

Although some Acura enthusiasts were disappointed by four-cylinder engine carried over to the second generation without a power increase, the new TSX V6 certainly adds what was missing. The Acura TSX is a great example of what all Honda products provide – value. Compared with other entry level premium sedans, the 2010 Acura TSX V6 balances practicality and affordability just as well as it balances performance and luxury. For consumers looking for a high-value premium sedan, the Acura TSX remains one of the most competitive choices available.

May Acura Sales Reveal Tough Challenges

2009 Acura TL The Acura TL has been redesigned from the ground up for 2009. Deciding to take a bolder approach to the TL’s exterior design, Acura enthusiasts have been divided on whether the new design is revolutionary, or just plain ugly.

Despite the love-it-or-hate-it styling, the 2009 Acura TL is currently the automaker’s best selling model. In May, sales were down compared to last year, but the TL sold a respectable 3,375 units. Overall, Acura’s May sales were down 34 percent compared to 2008.

There are many challenges for automakers these days admits Connecticut Car Loans, and a premium brand like Acura understands this all too well. In a time when Acura is trying to differentiate itself and boost its profile as the ultimate luxury automaker, car buyers are steering clear of premium dealerships as the economy has quelled consumer spending. To make matters worse, competition in the premium segment remains tough, as new offerings from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus are all giving Acura a run for its money.

Second to the TL in sales was the Acura TSX sedan. As Acura’s lower priced sedan, it offers a fair amount of value considered its luxury and efficiency. One Acura dealer that specializes in St Louis auto loans contends that the TL and TSX are modern in styling and provide spirited performance, but reminds buyers that Acura is a Honda-owned brand which means efficiency is never forgotten, even for premium car buyers.

Acura has plenty of work ahead to further build its presence in the shadow of brands such as BMW and Mercedes. That being said, Baltimore Acura says that Acura’s bold designs may pay off by helping the automaker gain more attention and standout in a crowded segment.
